Third native wildflower for 2022
The third native species I saw flowering this year was Tetraneuris linearifolia, one of two close relatives that both go by the common name four-nerve daisy. This species can be found flowering pretty much throughout the year here, with January and February as its slack months. On March 4th I saw several springing up, including the one above whose sinuous stem made it a good photographic subject. Below you see another four-nerve daisy flower head viewed from the top.

She makes the same points I’ve been making for years, and when it comes to education, decades.
