Not Palo Duro Canyon

with 11 comments

You can be forgiven for thinking these pictures are still more that I took at Palo Duro Canyon.

The photographs actually come from the next day, May 15th, some 100 miles southeast, at Caprock Canyons State Park, another geological fantasyland in north Texas. We hadn’t been there since the spring of 2014, so a return was overdue. The dark specks in the sky in the last picture aren’t dust spots but birds, about which you’ll see more in a post next week.
